Matthias is an intern therapist at Meadowbrook Counselling (supervised by Carrie Fleetwood, Director, B.A., M.Ed., R.P.)
Matthias holds a Bachelor of Honours in Theology and is currently working on his Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling at Tyndale University.
Matthias is compassionate, thoughtful, and a good listener. Matthias has experience working with people with disabilities and the elderly in community-support work. He has worked with people that are feeling depressed and anxious, with clients that are grieving, facing stressful relationships, or are lonely. Matthias has grown up and lived in several cultures and appreciates the importance of cultural and family context in the therapeutic space. These experiences have led him towards working as a therapist, where his desire is to see people thrive in their emotional and mental wellbeing.
Matthias loves reading, connecting with friends and enjoys going on bike rides and playing board games with his wife.
