Jacqueline Johnston

Jacqueline provides a supportive, caring and confidential counselling environment in which individuals and couples can acquire strategies for change and growth. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Toronto; Ontario Teacher Certification with a guidance specialist; a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology; training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from OISE and Emotionally Focused Therapy Training.

Drawing on years of life experience including 30+ years of marriage; raising three children; two decades teaching adults, adolescents and children; and 20 years leading caring and support groups in faith-based settings, Jacqueline believes in the value of a holistic counselling approach that recognizes the importance of psychological, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual health.

In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with family and friends, and outdoor activities including hiking and kayaking.
