After earning a BA and BEd., Cynthia has supported and advocated for special education students and Canadian newcomers in her teaching career. In a faith-based setting, she facilitates leadership groups, mentors young adults, and speaks to young people about mental health and life direction. Drawing on her life experience, she has also spoken about facing grief (infant loss), and she supports couples preparing for marriage using the Prepare and Enrich program.
Currently, she is completing an MDiv in Clinical Counselling at Tyndale University. She listens empathically and uses therapeutic approaches including Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focussed Therapy to journey with people as they grow and change. She believes that small changes can make a big difference.
In her free time, Cynthia enjoys spending time with her husband and teens, exploring nature, working out with colleagues, and pursuing her interest in photography.

Victoria’s goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves.
