Kristen Turner

Kristen is an intern at Meadowbrook Counselling Associates (supervised by Joey Crump B.R.E., B.A. (Hons), M.S.W., R.S.W.). She is in the process of completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Western University and a graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science from George Brown College.
Kristen has over three years of experience working with children and adults with autism spectrum disorder and volunteers at a local distress center. Through these opportunities, she has quickly become an advocate for empowering others and improving the health and wellness of people in the community. In practice, Kristen demonstrates trust, compassion, and collaboration and works hard to understand all aspects of the client’s life.
Kristen leads a very active lifestyle and has a passion for fitness. In addition, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and listening to some of her favorite podcasts.
