Sylvia Rukkila is a marriage and family therapist who works with couples, individuals and families with relationship difficulties. She is also a Prepare-Enrich practitioner who is experienced with premarital counselling, marital assessment, and re-vitalization. Sylvia’s background in healthcare and work with cancer patients has created an opportunity for her to specialize in counselling, supporting those living with cancer. Grief and loss counseling also are available. Support group inquiries are welcomed.
Sylvia is a registered member of the Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology, the International Family Therapy Association, and is in the process of completing requirements for clinical membership with the AAMFT and OAMFT.
