Gwen is a Clinical Social Worker who has been providing psychosocial counseling to individuals, couples, families and groups for 18 years. She is a generalist, having experience in counseling people who come with a broad range of difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, dissociation, stress, sexual dependence and other addictions, grief, and struggles in their relationships with themselves, their partners, their children, or God. In addition, she has developed two specialties: (a) working with those who have experienced the trauma of child abuse, sexual assault, vehicle accidents, and so on, and (b) working with those who want to develop their full potential. Gwen is trained in a wide range of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive therapy, critical incident stress debriefing, assertive communication training, solution-focused therapy, EMDR (Level II), etc. She enjoys people and loves to help them experience greater wholeness in their lives.
Gwen is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Hours: Tuesday and Wednesday, afternoon and evening; Friday, daytime only.
